Terminator Terminates Car Killers

Sacramento, CA -- Governor Arnold "I’ll Be Bach" Swartzenegger killed the bill to add a monumental license renewal tax to automobiles in the Golden State as soon as he took office. The former administration, in concert with the Al Gore "Right to Walk" movement, had promised to rid the state of its recently incurred multi-billion dollar deficit by effectively and drastically increasing the cost of owning an automobile. This stratospheric surcharge was to be implemented before the next scheduled election, however, their entire political organization was defeated in an emergency recall election, and the "car killers" have been disbanded and scattered to the four winds. No matter what the future holds for Terminator Arnold, we "car nuts" at Motorburg applaud his attitude toward maintaining some semblance of motor vehicle viability. The dream of cruising Hollywood Boulevard without having to own a star on the Walk of Fame remains alive for Californians. Now, we’ll see if he can save the state from bankruptcy so they don’t have to close their doors or their roads and sidewalks.
