In this acrylic painting for a comic book cover, Darrell shows his mastery of delivering a wordless historical lesson. His "Then and Now" depictions always give us a complete story, with a minimum of illustrations. Here, perfectly chosen examples are juxtaposed to tell us the Harley "Springer" story, from it's substantial early use by law enforcement, right down to the present day incarnation... resplendent in "chrome & leathers".
