Product Specifications and Care Open Edition Prints: • Our heavy weight acid free paper stock has a matte finish that compliments and enlivens the detail and crispness inherent in most of Motorburg's automotive art and mechanical subject matter. • These fine black & white art prints are produced with the latest in laser print technology and are printed on high quality 60# Hammermill stock. The resulting prints have superior water and light resistance. The combination of ink technology and acid free heavy weight papers produces a print with amazing light fastness, image fidelity and lasting stability. Although these prints utilize the finest materials in their production, proper care to protect these prints from prolonged exposure to intense light sources and direct sunlight, as well as environmental contaminants are advised. The following precautions are highly recommended by the paper and ink manufacturers: • Prints should be displayed in an indoor environment for utmost print longevity. • It is highly advised that for open display, the prints be displayed under glass or in a plastic sleeve for protection from atmospheric contaminants. • As with any fine art print, they should be kept away from direct sunlight. • If prints are to be stored, do so in an acid free, archival sleeve for maximum protection. Proper care to protect these black & white prints from prolonged unprotected exposure to the environment, should preserve their graphic richness and detail for many years to come.
