This evocative pen & ink pays homage to "The Boys of the Salt". A '46 Ford woody is filled with things needed for the trip to the "flats" and includes a "water bag" dangling from the front bumper... for those all too frequent "boil overs". Being towed behind the wagon is a home built racer with '36 Chevy grille and Indy style side pipes - It's flathead power and twin carbs complete Darrell's picture of... mid-century "fun in the sun".
