Here Darrell depicts a long ago Bonneville moment. World War II is just over and a stripped '29 roadster with flathead and dual carburetors awaits it's "time" on the salt flats. Riding on Kelsey-Hayes wires and relieved of running boards, fenders, hood and even it's windshield, this lightweight speedster stands modified for maximum speed. In the background, "period cars" complete the nostalgic scene.
