Sometime in the early 90's, Egon Necelis began construction of what would become the Lavender Mercury. Detailed pencil sketches had been completed in 1987, but when Charlie did his color renderings in 1990, he opted to send along this alternative design. Though it maintained most of the elements included in the final design that was built, this version shows a more traditional headlight & taillight treatment. It was spruced up on the computer in 2000, but remains true to its original design format.
