This painting features C•Cruz hisself (yellow '32) and his friend Norm Grabowski (the Father of the T-Bucket). It also portrays a "Prowler", the object of a Street Rodder article for which this illustration appeared. The Magazine's inquiry was whether a Prowler was a "Hot Rod"... or not. Cruz didn't fully illustrate the answer, but when Norm asked his opinion in caption - he did forewarn, "Beware of the Street Rod Industrial Complex".
