| Now that weve been slam dumped into the twenty-first century, theres no telling what new toys and technology will be made available to us in the next couple of decades... But we can guess! | Fantazm-- Like the Ford Econoline Pickup in ‘61, the cab-forward concept has been popular for years. True, it was like driving a cross between a beetle and a bus, but it was a great idea from strictly a utilitarian standpoint. But by moving a swapped hot mill to the middle of the chassis, using independent suspension with a rear transaxle and putting the driver in a semi-reclining position between the front wheels, we’re already closer to a more manageable 50/50 weight distribution. Wrap that chassis in a slicker-than-snot "bubble-body", and you’re ready to blast off. |

| Cosmic GT-2020-- No matter what shape the economy seems to be in, Car Nuts are always fascinated by the world’s fastest road machines. Whether you call them Super Exotics, Banzai Blasters or Cubic Buckaroos, they fill our heads with ultimate driving desires and stimulate our mobile libidos. Here’s a rule of thumb: If it doesn’t break the sound barrier, it’s got to LOOK like it can! This future-tech fantasy could have all the space-age morphological super-performance tricks that technology can offer, or be simply a "poser"... Only "RoboBabe" knows for sure. |
