| Here is where we present snapshots from outdoor car events along with the candid comments of roving correspondents and died-in-the-wool auto buffs Mark N. Meshur and Rob Ernekker. In our exclusive Mark & Rob Report, these curbside gurus gawk and talk up the latest rides and trends in their own unique fashion. On the other side of the street, however, the Motorburg staff puts forth their scintillating selections for your viewing pleasure, plus comments or details in our special section titled The Motorburg Pick. By the way... Mark & Rob have been known to "have a few" in spirit, while the Motorburg Staff is forever vigilant and sober. |
| Note: Mark & Rob are not paid employees, so their spontaneous comments are not necessarily the views of Motorburg or the Motorburg Staff. Comments by Messrs. Meshur and Ernekker are their viewpoint alone, and Motorburg cannot be held responsible for any "rumpled fenders" in readers’ minds. |

| Rob: |
"What is that, a 55 Chevy or somethin'?" |
| Mark: |
"No, I think that somethin' is a Chrysler Concorde." |
| Rob: |
"Wow! That is way cool and swoopy. What a transformation, the guy's a genius. I can't put my finger on it, but it reminds me of somethin' else." |
| Mark: |
"Somethin' else for sure... like he mighta saved some time and money if hed just started with a 54 Kaiser." |

| Rob: |
"Holy moly, what a Morris Minor. Ya think the guy stuffed that mega-motor in there because they said it couldnt be done?" |
| Mark: |
"No... I think he did it because they said it SHOULDNT be done." |
| Rob: |
"Well, thats definitely my favorite pedal-car from hell." |
| Mark: |
"Hell wouldn't describe the mess it could make in your shorts." |

| Rob: |
"Oooo... Lookit that shiny apple! Is that an old Chevy Pickup?" |
| Mark: |
"I don’t think so... Looks like a hybrid... Glass with late model guts." |
| Rob: |
"Well, if they shrunk a ‘48 body to fit an S-10, they did a great job." |
| Mark: |
"Yeah, but who really wants an antique SSR?" |

| This 1946 Studebaker Pickup is obviously a piece of work that has "winner" written all over it. It’s our "pick with all the tricks", and there’s still plenty room in back to haul the mail. By the way, that engine bay was never meant to sport a hood. Who would want to cover up that beautiful 6-71 blown monster Hemi anyway? Tom Watdahay, our roving photographer, who found this gem parked near a shopping mall in Nipantuck, North Carolina, stated that he thinks this is one of the finest pick-ups he's ever shot. On that we all agree! |
