Motorburg presents a Hallowed Place for the Creative Movers & Shakers
of the Rod & Custom Car Movement in America during the 20th Century. |
| Any list of anything is never definitive as long as people have different opinions. However, the Motorburg staff will be continually assembling a list of those late great individuals who were primarily instrumental in the formation and advancement of our originally American automotive genre of hot rods & custom cars. There is no "point tally" or grading system involved in the selection of these pioneers, just an overall "gut feeling" about the significance of their separate contributions. True, the criteria of judgement weighs heavily upon the side of design abilities and creative endeavor, but craftsmanship has not been forgotten. At any rate, Motorburg will be proud to display select names of former "artistic instigators" in hopes of calling attention to their innovative talents and achievements when they were rocking & rolling. |
