Now its time to showcase the real deal. Provided here in all their subtlety or flamboyance, the following is a gallery of both cool and hot wheeled wonders that Motorburg fans can identify with. A presentation of both radical and reasonable rides, this potpourri of viewer vehicles is meant to provoke the senses, prime the pumps and otherwise interest or inspire all those gazing upon these righteous rigs.
Here’s where all you Motorburg cruisers can get in on the action. If you’re proud of your ride, and want those bitchin’ wheels displayed upon the "streets" of Motorburg, our staff will try to get your baby styling and profiling on the Readers’ Ride page.

Be sure to join in the action...
To start things off, here's some "rides" of Motorburg's own Artists & Friends.

Darrell D. Mayabb - Arvada, CO • USA
This banana-cream 1936 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery is a rolling billboard for Motorburg associate artist Darrell Mayabb. It features some super striping and Darrell’s familiar signature on the side panels. With a humming 327 Chevy hooked up to a R4-700 overdrive transmission, Darrell has logged over 100,000 miles on it in the 23 years he’s spent truckin’ the country to car shows and events. With creature comforts like Thunderbird seats and dual (front & back) air conditioning, along with Flow Master mufflers and BF Goodrich tires on Colorado Custom wheels, the artist looks like he’s smoothly ready for the next hundred-thousand. Check out Darrell’s Gallery in the Motorburg Shopping Mall. |

Greg Tedder - Moreno Valley, CA • USA
Premier “silk screen artist” Greg Tedder tools around in this pristine ‘32 Ford highboy he nicknamed “The Frogster”. It features a Chevy 350/350 combination, a big Ford 9” rear and a Raven glass body. With real leather interior and lots of Edelbrock goodies, Greg’s happy to say that it gets him around town in style and... “plenty fast”. He’s had it on the road now for almost five years and he drives it to all the local shows and events around his Moreno, CA home base. Greg is a Motorburg associate artist and is featured in the Motorburg Shopping Mall. |

Jimmy Smith - Glendale, AZ • USA
Our friend and fellow designer Jimmy Smith gets around the desert Southwest in this “tookool” ‘64 Ford F-100. In this early version picture (the truck’s now has a red-oxide coat) the pickup sports a brushed bare metal finish with Econoline headlight bezels and a grille mounted moon tank. Featuring a scratch-built frame and hefty 351 Cleveland / C6, the tidy hauler really scoots. To transfer all that gitty-up to the asphalt, Jimmy chose to use some antique American 5-spoke mags with a pair of vintage drag slicks out back - then, “Jeem” decided on whitewalls all around to complete his artistic statement. You can catch the ol’ “hotroddesigner” kruzin’ around the Phoenix area in his low-down shop-truck or easier yet... scope out his Posters & Prints Gallery in the Motorburg Shopping Mall. |
