Primer Spots is primarily about NEW projects. We’ll have the latest skinny on future fat-fendered street machines, radical rods and too-cool customs, plus other types of provocative project cars. If it’s "in progress", it’s "out there" for our avid interest and collective visual enjoyment.

As you can imagine, we need your help in sniffing out the half-baked hotties, backyard bombs and garage bound go-mobiles being built around the country and the world. What the heck, your contribution may just grace this page someday as one of our prime examples.

Mike Sprague - Pomona, CA • USA
1955 Nash Metropolitan "Pro-Tootsietoy" -- This cute little weapon will be popping wheelies through a narrowed 9" Ford 4-link rear with Alston front clip and suspension. Push is by a (500 hp) Chuck Lamb built 350, through a Turbo 350, and will sport an Eclipse wing over it’s Simpson Drag Chute. Beep, beep!

Unknown Owner - from GoodGuys Nationals • USA
VeeDub "Pro-Breadbox" -- From the 2003 Nats and a prime example of what it takes to make the cut. Our shutterbug caught this "loaf of mean" sporting big back donuts hooked to a big mid-motor. The chute out back leaves no doubt, this is the real deal, Neal.

‘49 Ford "Pro-Shoebox" -- We'll just say, this a great example of what we're looking for. The Motorburg staffers found this "Bad Boy" lurking at the Ohio Fairgrounds in July of 2001. We’ll bet that when you roll in this gangster ride, you just flat out "fade to black".
